If you look at the location the shot was made from (distance laterally shifted from the center line) I think you can tell I was in the passenger seat for these. All were 1-3 second long exposures. 11 pm in the desert, quite fun. The light far off in the distance is light pollution from Las Vegas, Nevada, nearly 100 miles away.
Thank you for the compliment. Honestly, the only sound to be heard when making these images was the rush of air into Mark’s car as we drove with the windows down. He was driving at a pretty good clip (I know the roads have a speed limit of at least 30mph) so I couldn’t experience any ambient night noise other than that created by our movement through the space.
