Honestly, the only sound to be heard when making these images was the rush of air into Mark's car as we drove with the windows down. He was driving at a pretty good clip (I know the roads have a speed limit of at least 30mph) so I couldn't experience any ambient night noise other than that created by our movement through the space. All were 1-3 second long exposures. 11 pm in the desert, quite fun. The light far off in the distance is light pollution from Las Vegas, Nevada, nearly 100 miles away.
